Best of September (and kind of August)

Well, this is a first, but I had SUCH a busy month in September I wanted to capture all of it in one post, just for you!

Time is flying in such a fast way it's almost making me sad. I thought Fall would never get here and now it's right in the middle of it. I'm looking forward to cooler weather, bundling up with scarves and new songs from MCR, but it's still weird how quickly it got here!

This past September, I :

Got paid in Pizza and good conversation (and money..) to glue book pages to the wall of a pretty awesome shop.

Made a momento of the epic book page night by cutting out an anatomical heart and gluing it inside this empty watch.

Tried some new things with my personal style: Vests and Belted Dresses!

Made two of my favorite pieces of clothing ever and added to my Dream Outfit project! I can't stop wearing this cowboy sheet dress and I LOVE my denim jacket now!

 Visited South Street with my friend Jill (Post coming soon!). This is a shot I took of Crash Bang Boom, a local punk store and just a fun place to go!

Checked out a local rummage sale and walked away with one of my favorite little guys ever!

Not only did I show off my collection of vintage pics, which I've mixed with pictures of my favorite band, I did a whole home tour on the Phantastic Phinds blog!

I discovered Mori Style in a Pinsperation Post. This has become a huge source of fashion inspiration for me! I might even have a few more Mori posts coming up this month. (Sorry, I'm a fan!) I also did a back to school pinsperation, linked here!

 And I made some epic flower hair pieces to wear to work, because I need my hair to feel fancy now that it's a little longer! (but still too short to put in a pony tail.)

In addition to this business for my blog and work, I've also loved and been loved around the internet. I made it on Stacey's Best of the Interwebz list, I got loved by Terri and Lily with a Liebster blog award and I started to sponsor Near Sighted Owl (and joined her "Proud of My Size" link party). It's been such a busy month- I can't wait to see what October brings!

UPDATED: I wrote this Tuesday morning after posting my October Fall Pinsperation. I didn't realize how many other blogs did a recap- I've never done one before, and I just figured it'd be a nice change from my usual posts. So.. I hope you enjoy it!
