Dream Outfits: Stick 'em Up!

Dress: Handmade/Me, Chucks: Journeys, Fascinator: Handmade/Me
Close Up of Fabric
This is the dress I'm wearing in my jacket DIY post! Isn't it fun? Even though this is a Lisette pattern, and it's cowboy themed, I'm counting it as a Dream Outfit post because of two things. One is a dress I pinned on Pinterest that is horse themed and the other is a pin I pinned but also used in a Pinsperation post (how many times can I say PIN in a sentence?!). Click here for inspiration 1 and click here for inspiration 2. Even though inspiration two is not horse print, I feel that with a black cardi and some tights I could use this dress to accomplish that look.

I'm so happy with how this dress turned out and I got told I looked cute by everyone today at work! It's so comfortable.

I don't know if you know this, but I've also started belting the Lisette dresses. It just looks better, really, and I do like how I look in it even if I feel weird. So we'll see. This could either last a month (like my elastic skirt fad) or I could suddenly become a belt collector. What do you think?

I'm off to enjoy some of the beautiful weather we've been having lately. I hope you have a great day!

  1. Oh, wow, that pattern is awesome! I think the belt looks awesome and I like the way you tucked it in and left it hanging down like that. You look great!

  2. The dress is super cute! I love the print on the fabric. I think it's awesome that you found a pin that you wanted to make and outfit from and then did it! It's great to use your inspiration in ways that really work out.

    1. Trees, if I knew your size I'd send you one. I keep looking on etsy for one that I could mail you. :-) It's so freaking easy, and I come up with variations on it all the time.
