I'm so happy with how this dress turned out and I got told I looked cute by everyone today at work! It's so comfortable.
I don't know if you know this, but I've also started belting the Lisette dresses. It just looks better, really, and I do like how I look in it even if I feel weird. So we'll see. This could either last a month (like my elastic skirt fad) or I could suddenly become a belt collector. What do you think?
I'm off to enjoy some of the beautiful weather we've been having lately. I hope you have a great day!
Oh, wow, that pattern is awesome! I think the belt looks awesome and I like the way you tucked it in and left it hanging down like that. You look great!
ReplyDeleteThe dress is super cute! I love the print on the fabric. I think it's awesome that you found a pin that you wanted to make and outfit from and then did it! It's great to use your inspiration in ways that really work out.
ReplyDeleteI love that you wore Converse with this dress! It's a cool rocker vibe.

I love the fabric!
ReplyDeleteMouse- Thank you! :-) The belted look is growing on me, although it still feels weird.
ReplyDeleteMegan- Thanks! I love this fabric. Oh pinterest inspires me too much (looking at a pile of UFOs).
Bonnie- awwwwwwww shucks. I'm blushing. And following you on twitter now.
Terri- Thank you!! :-) It's bed sheets.
I really need to get me some Lisette Patterns! I love this frock and you know how I feel about novelty prints right? LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteTrees, if I knew your size I'd send you one. I keep looking on etsy for one that I could mail you. :-) It's so freaking easy, and I come up with variations on it all the time.
DeleteThis is so cute! I love the fabric, it's totally amazing. It looks so good with that belt as well.
